New Venue and Photo Shoot!

A few weeks ago I was asked to style a wedding photo shoot for a brand new venue in the Triad. This sweet couple is so in love, and they had a blast doing their photo shoot. When the bride said to me that she wanted an enchanted, romantic, but natural feel to her wedding, I knew she'd love being at this exquisite location. It was a beautiful Fall day and a perfect time of year to be at Timberlake.

Timberlake is an amazing venue, full of natural beauty and elegance. There are so many places to be able to enjoy... from an amazing orchard, to lakeside settings, gardens, wheat fields, to a pasture with an old water tower...and plenty of trails to explore all over! It really is completely picturesque and gorgeous.

The amazing Becki Dickinson captured the beauty of the day, and Julie from Simply Scrumptious made a gorgeous cake. One of my favorite florists, Farm and Filigree designed beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements for our photo shoot. We had a terrific line up of talent, and I must say, it came off splendidly.

Not your average sweetheart table.

The cake table was gorgeous with these colors in the background.

I loved every minute of being a part of this wedding. There's something about being around people in love. They seem to make everything more magical, to which I am always grateful.

Simply Celebrating

Is it just me, or do you love this. I tweeted about it immediately. Twice. Because the first time I messed it up and didn't give her the link right. But, just saying...Love her!

I'm so thankful for bloggers like her who share their thoughts and creations. Because there's no way that I could do all of this, but how fun that we can benefit from what she is celebrating. Maybe I'll get to a day or two, maybe I won't, but either way, I love that there is such a community of bloggers who share life together. That we are helping each other celebrate life. And somewhere in the midst of all the events and weddings going on, I can take a minute and go outside, and enjoy this creation that we are stuck right smack dab in the middle of. That I can take a second, and go look for Tree Swallow with my little ones. It encourages my heart to celebrate...not just my hands.

There are so many of you out there who share their thoughts, ideas, and fun ways to do this thing called life, and I am so grateful for these gifts. These are truly simple pleasures.
