Mantlescape Tea Time

My white mantle wanted to have a tea party.

She whined, "Why does the table always have the most fun?"

Always being a fan of tea time, I agreed to her request.

I told her the seating would be limited.

And the cups would be few.

But, none the less, the children would be invited.

And the party would be had.

Joining others in celebration at Tablescape Thursdays, Simple Pleasures, and Imperfect Prose.

  5. I have bumped into you at not one but TWO parties this morning. I came from Simple Pleasures, and see that you're across the crowded room on Susan's Porch, too.

I love what you did with your mantle, and especially the way you wrote about it. It makes me smile, and I think this is, indeed, a simple pleasure.
